NTRA is the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority for short. According to related law and regulation issued by Egypt NTRA, all of telecommunication equipments including terminal and wireless communication equipments are required get NTRA certification.
The equipments which need NTRA certification as following:
1. All kinds type of telephone;
2. All kinds of FAX equipment;
3. Payment telephone;
4. LPU equipment;
5. All kinds type of exchange telephone;
6. GSM mobile phone;
7. Wireless transmitter and receiver equipment;
8. Satellite communication equipment;
9. Cordless phone;
10. Radar device;
11. Other wire and wireless information and technology communication device for indoor and outdoor.
