IEEE1725 is a non-compulsive certification testing standard for mobile phone rechargeable battery which issued by American’ Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, but CTIA has implemented compulsive mobile phone battery certification plan according to this standard.
This standard applies to all types of rechargeable lithium ion (Li-Ion) and lithium-ion polymer (Li-Ion polymer) batteries and battery packs for use in mobile phones.
IEEE1725 established uniform standard for mobile phone battery's design 、manufacture and evaluation, which helps battery's manufacturer or the supplier make out and implement design analyze、testing and certification according to this standard, it can insure quality and reliability of the battery, and simultaneously ensure use security of the telecommunication products.
